The egg hunt is free and open to children age 9 and younger, the store announced on its website.
The event will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the store at 1 Stew Leonard Drive. Call 914-375-4700 for more information.
Children will be given a map of Stew Leonard's and a bag to collect eggs from costumed characters, including Clover the Cow, Cynthia Chick and Daphne Duck, among others. Each egg contains prizes such as candy, toys, games and more. (Some of the candy included in the eggs may contain peanuts.)
Due to the popularity of this event in past years, Stew Leonard's asks Yonkers customers to pick up tickets in advance. Tickets are available at Customer Service in Yonkers on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 400 children.
Tickets are only for the Yonkers egg hunt. The other stores do not distribute tickets. There is a ticket limit of five tickets per person for the Yonkers egg hunt.
