Frank Spychaj, 92, Clifton Resident

CLIFTON, N.J. -- Frank Spychaj of Clifton passed away on Nov. 8. He was 92. 

Born in Wysoka, Poland, he came to the US in 1949 and had been a resident of Clifton for the past 59 years. 

Spychaj was a Compounder for Givaudan in Clifton, for 37 years, retiring several years ago and a longtime parishioner of St. John Kanty Roman Catholic Church.

He is predeceased by his son Frank, Jr. and sister Maria.

Spychaj is survived by his wife of 64 years of Mary (Tabacek); children Richard, Barbara; grandfather of Lisa, Ryan, Evan and Danny; and siblings Roza and Wanda. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave. in Clifton and at 10 a.m. at St. John Kanty Church.

Interment will be at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton. 

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
